I saw talented teachers becoming exhausted, losing motivation and leaving a profession they once loved. In staffrooms, the frustration was constant—but the problem was rarely teaching itself. It was everything around it.
Planning long after contracted hours, entering the same information in different systems, chasing routine tasks and switching between platforms had become an accepted part of the job. I did not believe it had to be.
I started building ONe to bring the tools schools already rely on into one place and automate the repetitive work that steals teachers’ time. Professional judgement stays with educators; the unnecessary workload does not.
Our mission
Make teaching sustainable for the people already doing it.
A profession facing workforce shortages does not need more teachers or more platforms. It needs a system that asks less of them.
We often talk about recruiting more teachers, but not enough about supporting the incredible professionals already in our classrooms. ONe is designed to reduce the workload created by fragmented platforms and routine administration—giving teachers more capacity to teach, inspire and support young people.
These are not simply quality-of-life improvements. A more manageable working day can support teacher wellbeing and retention, help schools protect their budgets and create the conditions for better student outcomes.
